Situation: This exclusive hotel lies on the edge of the nature reserve of Guadiana Valley nestled within approximately 2,000 hectares of natural landscape. It is some 3 km to the centre of Mertola. The beach area is just 50 metres away from the hotel. Lisbon airport is 200 km from the hotel.

Lodging: Each of the rooms comes with a bathroom, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a minibar and a hire safe. The temperature may be adjusted by air conditioning. The rooms in the old country manor comprise high ceilings and include a king-size bed and a Jacuzzi in the bathroom. In the new building, the rooms additionally include a balcony with views of the pool or the river.

Services: Opened in 2004, this hotel combines the local style art of Alentejo with designs of the late Victorian era.
