Situation: This hotel is located in the tourist centre, just 200 m from the Algarve's most magnificent beaches. The resort centre is a mere 400 m away and offers scores of shops, lively pubs and nightclubs as well as restaurants. Links to the public transport network lie within walking distance of the hotel (200 m).

Lodging: The snug en suite rooms are fitted with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, Internet access, a minibar and a safe. Low cost rooms are interior rooms, without balcony/views and with a small window and a double bed.

Services: The hotel was built in 1979 and completely renovated in 2003. It consists of a total of 119 rooms on 9 floors, of which 65 are doubles and 54 are suites. The hotel's facilities include a pleasant lobby with a 24-hour reception, a hire safe, a currency exchange desk, a souvenir shop, a games room, a playground, bicycle hire and lifts. Dining options include an air-conditioned restaurant with a separate non-smoking area and children's high chairs, a piano bar furnished in Moorish style with a lounge area and a satellite TV corner as well as a coffee shop. Moreover, guests have the opportunity to make use of the Internet terminal, the room service, the laundry service as well as the secure bicycle cellar (some of which incur an additional fee). Guests may park their cars in the car park.

Board: There is a buffet available every morning at breakfast. For lunch, guests may select dishes from the set menu.

Sports: The hotel offers guests use of the freshwater swimming pool with separate children's pool as well as a furnished sun terrace and a poolside bar. The hotel hires tennis courts, bicycles and pool. Moreover, there are 4 golf courses in the area surrounding Monte Gordo, which is 6-15 km away. The entertainment programme is lively and amusing.
