Situation: The hotel is located on the beautiful São Miguel Island in the Azores archipelago. It is situated on a hillside close to Baia d'Alto, which is in Vila Franca do Campo. It is about 3 km from this town and only 19 km from the capital, Ponta Delgada. The beach is just 100 m from the hotel.

Lodging: All rooms have a double bed and a balcony or terrace with views of the sea. The room is equipped with air conditioning, a minibar, a safety deposit box, sofas and a coffee table, a dressing room with a wardrobe and a complete bathroom with shower, bathtub and hairdryer. Sports: With direct access to the delightful Baia de Água d'Alto beach (São Miguel's finest beach), the hotel has a magnificent heated freshwater swimming pool with a children's swimming area. The surrounding garden gives this outdoor pool a very calm, pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. There is also a bar in this area, and sun loungers and parasols have been set up poolside (fees apply). For tennis lovers, the hotel has two private courts where guests can practise their technique. Guests may also choose to burn calories on a bicycle ride around the gardens. The hotel offers a sauna, massage treatments and a gym, all of which are available for a fee. Table tennis and pool/snooker may also be enjoyed. Additionally, guests may relax on the nearby sandy beach, where sun loungers and parasols are available for hire.

How to arrive: Ponta Delgada Airport - Hotel Bahia Palace. Distance: 25.5 km Travel time: 30 minutes. When leaving the airport follow the direction 'Lagoa Ribeira Grande, Vila Franca do Campo. ' After 16.5 km, follow road 'ER 1-1' towards 'Vila Franca do Campo, go through the parish of' Agua de Pau'. Begins to Descent to 'Água D'Alto' where you will find the hotel on the bay Água d'Alto.
