Situation: The hotel is located only 600 metres from the beautiful sandy beach of Praia da Oura (Golden Beach). It is situated on the 'Strip' with a lot of bars, restaurants and entertainment. Albufeira is 2 km from the hotel and within easy reach using the local bus service. There guests will find an abundance of shops and entertainment venues.

Lodging: Each room has an en suite bathroom with a shower and bath. They are also equipped with a telephone, satellite/ cable TV, central heating, air conditioning, a balcony or terrace and a safe.

Services: The welcoming hotel was built in 1973 and renovated in 2003. It offers a total of 133 rooms spread over 5 floors. Guests are offered a spacious lobby with lifts, a currency exchange desk, a games room, a TV room, a conference room and a 24-hour reception. There is also a café, a cosy hotel bar, and 2 restaurants. Room and laundry services are at guests' disposal and there is a doctor on call. The hotel also offers parking facilities for those arriving by car as well as a kids' club for children. Wireless Internet access is available in all public areas, restaurants, the bar and conference rooms.

Board: There is a fine buffet available at breakfast and in the evenings. At lunchtime and in the evenings, guests may also choose to select dishes from the set menu, or take the à la carte option. Special dietary requirements may be accommodated, including the availability of low-fat options.

Sports: The hotel offers two swimming pools, one for adults and another for children, with sun loungers and parasols as well as a snack bar. A billiards room and a children's club with entertainment programme, tennis court and a mini golf for an additional fee are also available. The nearest golf course is just over 8 km away.

Comments: The hotel is open all year round and has a 24-hour reception. It is a non-smoking building except on the rooms' balconies and terraces.

How to arrive: When driving from Faro airport follow the road directions to Albufeira. Once there follow signs to Areias de S.João-Praia da Oura. On the main street (Dr.Francisco Sá Carneiro)-Strip the hotel can be found.
