Situation: Right next to Salgados Beach and the Nature Reserve, this modern hotel offers a fantastic view over Salgados Golf Course in the city of Albufeira in the Algarve. There are numerous restaurants, bars and shops within about a 10-minute drive. The train station is about 15 minutes' drive away. Faro Airport is about 40 km away.

Lodging: The rooms are en suite with a shower and hairdryer. In-room amenities include a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, Internet access, a safe, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, an ironing set, air conditioning and a balcony/terrace.

Services: Guests can choose between the 228 rooms at this magnificent golf and beach hotel and the 245 one, two and three-bedroom suites (family accommodation). There are great facilities offered such as several restaurants and bars, a café, hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, lift access to the upper floors as well as a congress centre with conference facilities. Guests of this charming beach hotel are welcomed in the lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services. Further facilities include air conditioning, an auditorium, children's playground, wired and wireless Internet access, room and laundry services as well as a car park and garage. Guests can also hire bicycles.

Board: Guests can enjoy several restaurants and bars available throughout the hotel with various wonderful views. There are 4 seasonal restaurants (a la carte, buffet, sushi and a pool bar and restaurant as well as 3 bars; the lobby bar, a sports bar and a piano bar (seasonal).

Sports: Guests can enjoy the 13 outdoor swimming pools, the indoor heated pool and the health club and spa. There is also a children's swimming area and a poolside snack bar. How to arrive: At the end of the A2 (after the toll), follow signs for A22 Portimao. Once on the A22 (or ?Via do Infante'), exit towards ?N395-Albufeira Guia'. After 800 metres, turn right in direction of ?N125-Alcantarilha Guia'. Turn left 3.8 km after the Guia roundabout (3rd exit). Follow signs for ?Albufeira'. After 500 metres and after the traffic lights at the intersection, turn right in the direction of Vale de Parra, Gale. Turn right 3.2 km after the roundabout at Vale de Parra (first exit), in the direction of Pera. After 700 metres turn left immediately after the traffic lights towards ?Salgados' and ?Praia dos Salgados'. Turn right 400 metres after the roundabout at the Herdade dos Salgados. Turn left after 100 metres and the hotel is on the right.
