Situation: This luxurious hotel is located in a 70-hectare park area with a river and a fountain. It is situated in a peaceful location overlooking the spectacular rocky landscape between Vilamoura and Albufeira, with stunning views out over the sea. The fine sand beach of Praia da Falésia can easily be reached with a lift and down a flight of stairs. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood. The nearest airport is 40 minutes away, Olhos de Agua is 3 km away and Albufeira and Vilamoura are around 8 km from the hotel.

Lodging: All of the hotel rooms are furnished in a modern style and come fitted with a luxury bathroom with various amenities, including a hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers. All hotel rooms additionally come equipped with a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, Internet access, a minibar, a fridge, a safe, air conditioning and central heating. Luxury Suites (Bi-level), formerly known as Duplex Suites, include bedroom and bathroom on the first floor and a sitting area and guest bathroom on the ground floor. All rooms also include a balcony as standard. The baby cribs are provided upon request (free or at a charge).

Services: This family-friendly hotel was built in 1992 and has 215 double rooms. Guests are offered a splendid lobby with a reception manned around the clock, a safe, lifts, a currency exchange desk, a games room, TV room and a function/conference room with Internet access. There is also a cosy hotel bar, a café, a newspaper stand, a shop, a supermarket, a hairdresser and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with a non-smoking area and highchairs for younger guests. Room and laundry services are at guests' disposal and there is a doctor on call. Outside the hotel there is a playground, tennis academy and a kids' club. The brand new Pine Cliffs Residence apartments are located 10 minutes' walking distance from the hotel main building, along the resort's stunning Pine Cliffs Golf Course. Alternatively a resort train is available for guests to move around within the resort. Those arriving by car may use the parking facilities.

Board: A fine buffet is on offer at breakfast and in the evenings. At lunch and at dinner there is also an à la carte option. In addition, the hotel caters for guests with special dietary requirements.

Sports: The main feature of the hotel is the wonderful 9-hole golf course, bordering the hotel grounds. Guests are offered a pool with children's paddling area, a pool bar, sun loungers, parasols, water aerobics, an indoor swimming pool, a hot tub, a sauna and a massage service. Sport activities include tennis, table tennis, aerobics, a gym, archery, basketball, billiards/snooker, minigolf and a seasonal entertainment programme. Guests also have the opportunity to enjoy banana boating, water skiing, windsurfing, sailing and catamaran boating. On the beach sun loungers and parasols are both available.

Comments: Kindly note that with immediate effect the hotel does not provide blankets, bumpers or pillows with the cribs. Guests must bring their own.

How to arrive: Departing from Faro, take the main road EN 125, following the signs to Portimão. Take the Highway IP1 - Via do Infante and take the Boliqueime exit. At the traffic lights in Boliqueime, take a right and follow E.N.125 until the traffic lights. Then turn left and follow the road to the roundabout, drive straight ahead and follow the signs to the resort.
