Situation: This hotel is located in the mystic Furnas Valley, adjacent to the botanical gardens of rare beauty. Lying just 10 minutes drive from the centre of Furnas, it is also just 10 minutes by car to the pleasant volcanic beaches of Ribeira Quente. Moreover, various other towns are within a short drive of the hotel: Povoação (approximately 20 minutes away), Vila Franca do Campo (some 25 minutes from the hotel), the ?Nordeste' region (40 minutes) and Ponta Delgada (ca. 45 min). The town of Sete Cidades with its lake is about 1 hour away.

Lodging: Each of the rooms features an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a radio, a minibar, a double bed, air conditioning, heating and a terrace.

Services: The tasteful art deco-style interiors blend harmoniously with the spectacular surrounds. This 3-storey hotel comprises a total of 81 rooms, which includes 2 suites. Guests may access the hotel gardens and facilities within the hotel include air conditioning, a foyer, a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange facility and a lift as well as conference facilities, a games room, a TV room, a café, a bar and a restaurant. Fees apply for wireless Internet access as well as use of the room and laundry services. There is a car park for those arriving by car.

Board: All meals are available in a buffet form; lunch and the evening meal may alternatively be taken à la carte or chosen from a menu. It is possible to book a half-board, full-board or bed and breakfast only stay.

How to arrive: Ponta Delgada airport is located in Ramalho County, 4 km from the city of Ponta Delgada and approximately 50 km from Furnas. It is possible to either travel north or southwards upon leaving the airport; always follow the signs to Furnas. Several towns and counties will be passed by, and after 1 hour, guests will arrive at the hotel, in Furnas Valley.
