Situation: This hotel is located just a few kilometres from the centre of Avor, 4 km from countless shopping and entertainment venues and within 200 m of links to the public transport network. It is 4 km to the nearest sandy beach.

Lodging: The well-equipped rooms come with a bathroom with a shower, bath and hairdryer. In addition, a minibar/ fridge, a hire safe, a direct dial telephone, Internet access, a radio, satellite/ cable TV and individually regulated air conditioning.

Services: This golfing hotel, renovated in 2008, comprises a total of 4 floors with 188 rooms. There is also a vast 1,500 m² garden surrounding the hotel and various facilities including a foyer with 24-hour reception desk, lifts, a currency exchange facility, a safe, a newspaper stand and a hairdresser's salon. There is also a café, a bar, Internet access (for an additional fee), a WLAN access point and conference facilities. Furthermore, younger guests may let off steam in the playground or participate in kids' club activities (fees apply). Laundry and room services as well as bicycle hire are included in the facilities (additional fees apply). A car park rounds off the facilities.

Board: Guests may select from the continental breakfast buffet as well as from the buffet service offered in the evenings; lunch and dinner may also be taken à la carte or chosen from a menu. Special individual-specific dishes may be prepared. Finally, it is also possible to book a half board stay or simply bed and breakfast.

Sports: In the outdoor complex is a swimming pool as well as a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols and a pool bar. It is possible to play tennis, try out archery, go mountain/ road biking, play billiards or pay a visit to the in-house gym. The hotel features a golf course and it is possible to relax in the sauna or with a massage.

Comments: Check-in time from 2pm and check-out until midday. Children under 6 years old are not permitted in the Grill restaurant.

How to arrive: On leaving Faro airport, follow the street for 2.5 km until reaching a junction. Take a left at the junction (signs to Lisbon/Espanha). From here, continue on the EN125. After around 4 km follow the blue signs for the A22 motorway to Loulé. After joining the motorway westbound drive for about 40 minutes and the Alvor exit. Guests will then come to a big round-about and should follow the signs to Figueira / Hotel / Golf. There is a BP Petrol Station after about 500 meters on the left and the entrance to Le Meridien Penina Golf & Resort is right there.
