Situation: This pousada is located in the historical centre of the Alentejo town of Beja.

Lodging: All the rooms contain and en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, an Internet connection, a minibar and central heating.

Services: The pousada occupies an old Franciscan monastery dating back to the 13th century and combines the mystical atmosphere of the sacred walls with the amenities and comforts of modern times. A total of 35 rooms and 1 suite is on offer. It is fully air-conditioned and facilities on offer include a lobby with lifts and a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a lift and a currency exchange counter. Further facilities include a TV room, a café, a bar and a restaurant serving superior cuisine. Guests are additionally able to make use of room services as well as the public Internet terminal. Car parking facilities are to be found outside.

Board: Breakfast, lunch and dinner may be selected from a buffet. At lunchtime and in the evenings, guests may also choose to select dishes from the set menu, or take the à la carte option. Guests may also book a full board or a half-board stay or bed and breakfast only.

Sports: In the outdoor complex is a swimming pool, a poolside snack bar and sun loungers and parasols that have been laid out ready for use. A tennis court as well as snooker and family games facilities are also to be found inside the grounds. Sports enthusiasts may enjoy cycling, fishing, water sports or go horse riding.
