Situation: This hotel is located on the outskirts of Bragança, on a hillside of the Serra da Nogueira mountain range and offers great views over the 800-year-old castle of the city. Bragança is the northernmost city in Portugal, about 500 km from Lisbon but only some 30 km from the Spanish border. The Montesinho National Park can be explored both on foot and by car.

Lodging: The rooms all come with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, satellite/ cable TV, a minibar and a direct dial telephone. Centrally regulated heating is also provided in all accommodation units as standard.

Services: The hotel is fully air-conditioned, combines typical regional architecture with modern design and comprises a total of 28 rooms. The foyer contains a lift. Further facilities include a TV room, a bar and a restaurant serving regional cuisine. Guests are additionally able to make use of room service as well as the public Internet terminal. Parking is available for those arriving by car.

Board: Breakfast, lunch and dinner may be selected from a buffet. Special dietary requirements can be met. At lunchtime and in the evenings, guests may also choose to select dishes from the set menu, or take the à la carte option. Guests may book bed & breakfast, a half-board stay, or a full-board stay.

Sports: In the outdoor complex there is a swimming pool, a poolside snack bar and sun loungers and parasols that have been laid out ready for use. Guests will also find a shooting range outside the pousada. Sports enthusiasts may enjoy fishing, riding, or cycling.

How to arrive: Departure: Oporto Airport, head north, turn right, turn left, turn right onto Travessa do Barreiro, continue forward onto Travessa do Barreiro. Merge with the ramp through VRI to Matosinhos / Porto / A4, take the ramp onto A4 (highway with toll); Continue on IP4 (directions to Bragança/IP4/Vila Real), take the exit, turn right onto the Avenue of Masonry. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit to Av of Masonry, turn right at Alameda de Santa Apolonia. At the roundabout, take the 2. exit to Estr. the Turismo/N217-1. The destination is at left.
