Situation: This family-friendly hotel is just on top of Salgados Beach and 5 min from the centre of Albufeira. The A2 motorway is a 10 min drive and Lisbon can be reached in 2 h. Faro International Airport is 45 km away.

Lodging: This establishment offers a modern style of architecture that brings back the essential beauty of Algarve houses, while making efficient use of space and the excellent light in the region. The generous terraces and verandas and the large windows, coupled with the proximity of the resort's facilities, mean that the villas and apartments are a unique opportunity to live in harmony with nature. The en suite bathrooms come with a bathtub/shower and hairdryer, and on-site facilities include double beds, a TV, a washing machine, air conditioning and a kitchenette with a microwave.

Services: Built in 2008, this apartment hotel is a great holiday destination for families, providing a tranquil atmosphere and exciting conditions for youngsters. The resort's reception is open 24 hours a day and the establishment is fully air-conditioned. Guests are welcomed into a lobby and on-site facilities include a café, bar and restaurant. Guests arriving by car can leave their vehicles in the nearby car park or parking garage.

Board: The resort is served by 2 restaurants: one is the CS Herdade dos Salgados Club, serving Portuguese and Italian cuisine; and the other is the Salgados Golf Club House, where seafood dominates the menu.

Sports: The establishment features an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor swimming pool and a children's swimming area. Convenient refreshments can be found at the poolside snack bar and sun loungers and parasols have been laid out poolside for extra relaxation. Guests can relax in the sauna or enjoy a spa treatment, whilst table tennis and an entertainment programme for children are provided. Fees apply for the golf, biking and aerobics, as well as for the majority of the water sports, which include waterskiing, jet skiing, diving, surfing, windsurfing, motor boating, banana boating and sailing. The nearby beach is suitable for a game of beach volleyball and has sun loungers and parasols for hire (fees apply).

How to arrive: Exit Faro Airport, heading towards the A22 in the direction of Albufeira. After about 30 km leave the road at the Albufeira exit. Upon entering the town, head east towards Salgados beach, close to the Gale area. The resort is on the right before the beach.
